Squaw Valley Resort Lift Ticket information

There are currently major changes with lift ticket purchase at Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. Current details are below. We will update this info as the mountain makes changes.
Squaw will manage general visitation to the mountain by temporarily eliminating the sale of "walk-up" tickets at the window, and tightly controlling the sale of advance purchase tickets. Currently lift ticket sales are available for skiing midweek after January 4th.

What you can plan on:
  • Single-day lift tickets are currently not available for stand-alone purchases for skiing until January 4 unless purchased in conjunction with a ski or ride school lesson or rental/demo equipment.
  • This means no stand-alone lift tickets are available for skiing prior to January 4 and no lift tickets are available on weekends or holidays (Jan 18 & Feb 15-19, 2021) unless packaged with lesson or equipment rental.  Weekend ticket access could change after January 4th as more terrain opens.
  • Ikon Season Pass holders will continue to have the best and most flexible access to the resort as well as guests who book a ski and ride school lesson and ski & snowboard rentals through the resort.  Ikon Season Passes are still available for purchase.
  • Squaw Valley Lodge will adhere to our cancellation & deposit policies
While this ticket situation is certainly frustrating, we understand the mountain needs to be conservative and extra safe during the early season where there is generally less terrain, less snow and plenty of people. Their concern is for your safety and to keep the mountain open and skiing going.

An upside the of dynamic midweek ticket is that they are surprisingly inexpensive (Tuesday and Wednesdays at $99?!) This provides for great midweek getaways with equally discounted lodging at Squaw Valley Lodge.

How to pre purchase your tickets:
Purchase tickets for skiing starting January 4 in advance for the best rates and availability, or with the Squaw | Alpine Mobile App (Download in the Google Play Store or iTunes Store).
