Go Nordic with Tahoe Cross-Country Skiing

Glide your way across snowy fields and icy trails with cross-country skiing, a local favorite. Just nine miles from Squaw Valley, Tahoe Cross Country (XC) Ski Area features miles of groomed cross-country trails, a day lodge, cafe, rentals and lessons. Head out to ski or snowshoe on snow-covered trails through Ponderosa Pine and White Fir trees. Cruise along open meadows and gentle rolling hills, or climb up to enjoy fantastic views of Lake Tahoe. Two trail-side warming huts provide ideal locations for getting out of the weather and warming up with a free hot chocolate or tea. Those older than 69 and younger than 10 enjoy free Tahoe cross-country skiing at Tahoe XC - and dogs are welcome too!
