  • What does Squaw Valley Lodge offer?

    We are a ski–in, ski-out resort right on the slopes of Squaw Valley. It's a great location for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer. We are also centrally located near restaurants, shopping, and attractions.
  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is 4:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am.
  • Can we book the room using credit card/debit card/check?

    We take credit cards and debit cards but no checks.
  • Do you offer shuttle service to the nearest airport or train station?

  • Do you provide parking at the hotel?

    We have covered parking at Squaw Valley Lodge and you don’t need to reserve your space.
  • Do you have a business center?

    We have a computer and printer for guests, and the Squaw Valley Lodge Guest Services takes care of any additional business needs such as scans, fax, and shipping.
  • Do you provide luggage storage?

    Yes, you can always check your bags at Squaw Valley Lodge.
  • Do you provide free breakfast and if so, what are the hours?

    We provide free coffee, but no free breakfast. We are located just steps from great breakfast spots in the Village.
  • Do you have a pool?

    Yes, we have a summer swimming pool that is heated. 
  • Do you have a fitness center and what are the hours of operation?

    Yes we do have a fitness center, and its hours of operation are 8:00 am to 9:30 pm.
  • How can someone rent skis and boots at Squaw Valley?

    We can give you rental discounts at the Inn Shop of Squaw Valley for both skis and snowboards. The Inn Shop is a two-minute walk from Squaw Valley Lodge.
  • What are the best summer activities to do with my family at Squaw Valley?

    There are many summer activities. The Squaw Valley Lodge swimming pool is at the top of the list for kids. There is also easy access to Lake Tahoe beaches and water sports including paddle boarding, kayaking, waterskiing, wake boarding, sailing, and fishing. You can also go biking (road and mountain biking), hiking, and shopping. Ride the Squaw Valley Cable Car, rollerskate at High Camp, and find plentiful golf courses.
  • Where can I take ski and snowboard lessons?

    Lessons are available at both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows Ski Schools.
  • Where can I get deals and discounts on lift tickets?

    Book our Squaw Valley Lodge Ski and Stay Package for exclusive rates and discounts.
  • How do I know when my room is ready? What if I want an early check-in?

    We will not know prior to your arrival date when your room will be ready. Please give our Front Desk a call the day of your arrival so we can give you a better estimate of when the room will be ready. All rooms are ready by 4 pm, however should you come earlier and the room is not ready we are happy to give you access to our parking and property amenities.
  • How do I get a late check-out?

    Late check-outs can only be honored the day of your check-out. Please call down to our Front Desk by choosing option 0 or dialing (530)583-5500 extension 0. Typically late check-outs are only for an hour or two and later check-outs can incur an hourly charge. Unapproved late check-outs will also incur an hourly charge.
  • What if I need to cancel last minute due to an emergency or weather?

    We offer trip insurance through Red Sky Travel to cover your needs for cancellation. You may add it to your reservation anytime between making your reservation and your final deposit. The purchase of travel insurance can help you recover the cost of your trip, should interruption or cancellation be necessary due to a covered reason.   • Do you allow smoking on property?

    Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel or on our property.
  • Is the hotel air conditioned?

    No, we do not have air conditioning but we do provide fans in all rooms.
  • Do you have rollaway beds or cribs?

    Yes, rollaway beds and Pak ‘n Play cribs are available. You can request rollaway beds by calling the Front Desk at (530) 583-5500 ext. 0. Based on availability; additional charges may apply.
  • Is Squaw Valley Lodge pet-friendly?

    No, Squaw Valley Lodge is not apet-friendly property.
